Welcome to Yolanda’s Pet Sitting & Dog Training, LLC. Yolanda’s Pet Sitting
& Dog Training, LLC is owned and operated by Yolanda
and Mark Lariviere. In addition to handling the business side of things with a B.S. in Management and an A.S. in Computer Systems
Management, we have almost a decade of professional experience and a lifetime working with and nurturing all types of animals. We are also bonded
and insured for your protection, and certified animal care specialists and members of theNational
Association of Professional Pet Sitters, Pet Sitters International, Professional United Pet Sitters Association.
We are also currently enrolled in the ABC Dog Training Certification Program. We have seven fur babies of our own: Caymen, Lucky, Tyler, Cole, Bella, Adonis and Lyric.
We also have a 150 gallon fresh water fish tank and are familiar with their needs. Please visit the photo gallery to see all of our pets. I've been around animals all of my life and I love them all - big & small.
My
mission is to ameliorate the lives of all animals
through education, socialization, stimulation, exercise, training as well as offering alternatives to kenneling!
Socialization is the first step in raising a well-behaved dog. During the first weeks of their lives, puppies
go through a critical period of development. When a puppy is exposed to new people, places, and situations in a positive
way during this period, there's a good chance he'll be calm and accepting when he experiences them again later in life.
It's the first step in his training and the most important step you will take in the life of your dog. Proper socialization will
drastically reduce anxiety and fear which can easily translate into aggression.

Our Train for Life Philosophy: Every person on this earth has their own personal philosophy on caring for their dog.
Working with the right trainer that fits your dog ownership philosophy, is just as important as finding the right "dog".
Our dogs are treated as integral members of our family. They enjoy a fulfilling and rewarding life and respond accordingly.
They exercise and socialize with dogs and people; go for rides, hikes and walks in every venue conceivable. This gives them the
much needed socialization, as well as mental and physical stimulation to thrive each day. After all, an exercised dog is both well
behaved and successful in our world! They are very well socialized within the world they live. In addition, each dog has a role
that they must fulfill daily in their routines. That role can be as simple as performing a series of commands or it can be as
elaborate as supervising the daycare pack and keeping them all in line. This job makes them a valuable part of the family and it
gives them a purpose.
It is essential to have a well-rounded dog which encompasses mental and physical activity, the ability to handle and feel
comfortable in all situations (socialization), as well as discipline and love. It's really a way of life. We are not creating
robots or machines. The goal is to create well-adjusted, happy family members who are respectful of our leadership and eager to
please us at the same time. We can help you every step of the way! We can help you create the perfect family member.
Now, let's discuss training style. We train using only positive methods that best suit your dog's learning needs. I can say with
absolute certainty that I understand what dogs need to thrive. It's our job to teach them how to thrive with us. The methods that
we choose to derive results are of utmost importance. If we bribe or conversely abuse a dog to get him to perform, bad behavior and
even aggression can explode later on.
So, don't delay, sign up today! See what having a Happy "furmily" member can mean to you.

Here’s What Client’s Are Saying About Our Service
"I can't say enough great things about Yolanda's Pet-Sitting Service! My parents went on a two-month vacation and
asked that I take care of their two and a half year old Golden Retriever, Buddy. Predictably, Buddy was out of sorts
feeling and acting confused after having been left behind by his "people." With two small children and a full time job, I
had a tough time giving Buddy the attention he needed. Having gotten a word of mouth recommendation about Yolanda's, I signed
him up for two days a week and his spirits lifted immediately! The first few visits he was hesitant, likely fearing he would be
dropped off forever, but eventually he would sit by the car wanting to get in and go to "school!" Buddy always came home well
exercised, satisfied, and brushed … obviously having had a blast at daycare. Yolanda is outstanding - knowledgeable, caring,
flexible and so committed to caring for her clients - thank you Yolanda!!!" Joyce Butler, Cumberland, RI
“I was ecstatic! It’s so nice knowing I can go away and Dozer will be in more than capable hands.”
“Your visits to our house seemed to help our dog adjust better to my being away.”
“I most emphatically recommend Yolanda’s Pet Service care for all dog owners. It is a playground of fun and socialization, which are key components for anyone’s healthy lifestyle. Yolanda offers the greatest in flexible hours at the most convenient prices. If you have a pet, I urge you to visit her website for both your sakes. I shall never regret having done so. Sincerely, Lisa A. Quinn, Satisfied Pet Owner.”
