- MasterPeace Dog Training
“Peaceful training for dog and master”
We are a full-service dog training facility, offering courses from Puppy Kindergarten and Beginner Pet Obedience, through all levels of Competition Obedience. We also offer courses in Agility (beginner through competition level), Rally Obedience, and Breed Handling, as well as courses to teach you how to calm and better handle your reactive dog. Special events, such as Therapy Dog testing and Canine Good Citizen testing, are offered several times during the year. Private instruction at our school or at your home is available, should you desire specialized attention. Our rings are also available for private rental should you want to practice obedience, agility, or just have some fun time with your dog in heated/air-conditioned comfort. Visitors are welcome to visit our facility and observe any of our classes at any time.

HSUS.org's dog behavior tip sheets - crate_training
It's important to know the difference between when you are using a crate for the purpose of "potty" training and
when you are actually being abusive to your dogs. Your dogs should not spend all day and night in a crate without
being let out to meet both emotional and physical needs. So many people over use and mis-use the crate. If you must
use a crate, please follow the guidelines in the attached link from HSUS. Some alternatives to crate training include:
hiring a pet sitter to play with and potty train your puppy, use of a doggy door leading to a safe section of your house,
or use of a pen or a safe closed in area of your house. Two dogs should never be housed in one crate together, unless
the crate is large enough so both dogs can stand up, turn around and lie down in their own spot comfortably!
And, finally, all animals, especially, puppies and kittens, should have access to fresh, clean water 24 hours a day.
